well, i don't know how and were to start so
i'll start with day one. on
thursday, we left our house at 4:30 a.m. and headed to the airport. MO wasn't too sure what was going on but she turned out to be the THE BEST traveler. she was awake for every take-off and landing and it didn't even phase her! it was truly amazing. i was freaked out beyond belief that she would scream and cry and it would just be awful - typical me. well, she again, proved me wrong.
once we got to the resort, we were in our swimsuits in no time. we headed to the beach so MO could experience it for the first time. if we hadn't been standing right there, she would have made a bee line for the water. it was the best thing to watch! the ocean for the first time through a
child's eyes.
here we are waiting at the airport. MO told every plane 'bye bye'!
sooo cute!

our hammock on our balcony. MO didn't so much love it...wanted out quickly after this photo!

her first 'taste of
mexico'. loved it!!

some things didn't exactly taste '
american' but the french fries did!!!

what's this 'ocean' place you keep talking about??

holy crap! are you kidding me?!??!

hold me back!
i'm a runner!!!!!!!!!!!! (this is for you, sunny!)

seriously, dad, let go! i can totally do this!
eeeee! the water is a little chilly!

the look on her face and the seriousness of her hand...girls got a plan.

dig in girl!!

my booty is sinking in this glorious sand and
i'm lovin' it!

i love it when the waves splash up on me!!!!!!!!!!!

glad momma was behind me cause that wave about knocked me over!

posing for a pic? not a chance.

that is one sandy booty!

we mostly saw the back of her sweet little body....

this ramp was one of her top 10 favorite things. run much?

somebody just got caught in the jewelry store AGAIN!

telling the big girls her stories about the sea...

what a busy first day! we're all sleepy!!

it's a good thing she's cute because she could have straight-up annoyed some
mexicans (and fellow tourists). they all said, "
hola olibia" "welcome
olibia" "oh it's
olibia!!" and "enjoy your
bacation olibia" (you know cause they pronounce their
v's like
b's...) and wanted to pick her up. a man in the jewelry store even gave a her a 'good luck charm' that looked more like a fishing lure than anything but it was so sweet. we put it away because it was perfect for a little 18 month old to eat. in two seconds flat. MO had so many opportunities to brush up on her
spanish and her teacher would be so proud! she said '
hola' to everyone and attempted '
gracias'. we can't wait to travel with miss thing again!!!
