Monkey 'N Around

MO’s friend HJ had his second birthday party today. The theme was “Curious George” and there were literally monkeys everywhere!! Little River Zoo was there and they brought a teeny-tiny baby monkey (see, I told you), a huge tortoise, a ferret, a huge & fluffy bunny rabbit, a skunk (with his sprayer removed, of course!) and a little tiny something-or-another whose name has left me. That ‘animal’ was probably MO’s favorite so I probably need to find its real name – not that we’re getting her one. HJ’s Mommy did an amazing job of planning this party down to the very last detail.

HJ’s cake was darling with polka dots and a monkey on top. Plus, it was super-yummy – thanks, Sunny!

There were table settings for each little one with their own personalized placemat and personalized sippy cup of apple juice. Their party favors were perfectly tucked away in Curious George tote bags! Way cute!

Here is MO with the fluffy bunny. She was sooo soft!

She was so happy to be there. She didn't want to touch the animals much, but she was so happy to look!
Kolten and Kerstin (school friends) were there. MO was making sure Kerstin saw the bunny!
