now, to the point of the matter. here is an excerpt from her first day visiting the ST's...."hard time realizing we don't throw fits" is a little hard for a Momma to swallow. i was little (a lot) ticked at her so, this morning, we made a point to see the head teacher to get the full scoop as she's not there in the afternoons when we pick up. according to them, "throwing fits" means the same thing as "wanting to be held". UM, SOOOO NOT THE SAME THING! i went from being upset with MO to being upset with her teachers!! how dare they not hold my darling daughter when she's freaking out about this next stage in her life?!?!? have some compassion for crying out loud!

i know, FULL WELL, that my daughter can throw a mean fit. she learned from the best and heredity can be a bitch. being hormonal and nutso as i am right now, i decided this was not the bridge i wanted to burn. i will not, however, forget.

Liz, I am with you! Of course it is very easy to tell the difference between throwing a fit and wanting to be held. Ridiculous!!!!!
I should say that this is THE BEST school in town and we're VERY happy there! BUT, no place is perfect!!!
Hugs, girl, been there.... transitions are always hard! Read back on some of our "notes from school"- there are some doozies!
Throwing a temper tantrum and wanting to be held are two entirely different things, can't believe the teacher doesn't realize that!
Man...teachers can be real hags sometimes!! HAhahahaha!!
hell no you wont forget and neither will this mama! i'm already dreading the next move up and we've got a while! poor mo is just having a rough week. at least she knows she's loved down at the other end of the hall. if she ever snuck back into the teeter totter room, i don't think they would return her! poor betty was so sad this morning! she said it's been a very hard week. i just wanted to say, wait until next week, but i didn't have the heart!
I would be livid! If MO wants to be held they need to hold that sweet thing! Holding and "throwing a fit" are two different things, come on.
y'all are so sweet! i love you!!
