my birthday continues

my birthday celebration ended up being a duo-celebration. and i was so excited about it! my friend, marissa, has a birthday a day after mine so we decided to celebrate together! we went to pachinko parlor in okc and had THE BEST time!! here's everyone that helped us celebrate. from left to right: cassie, amanda, travis, andrew, tommy, stevie, S, me, lindsi and marissa. it was a great group. the boys talked about boy stuff and us girls talked about girl stuff. we occasionally talked to the boys, but not much! ha!

see? we at least talked to them long enough to tell them to look at the camera. lindsi told stevie to make sure he had his eyes open.

here are a few pics of our dinner. holy heck these rolls are HUGE and soooo yummy!! S and i can quickly devour five rolls at our usual place. but NOT here! wowzers!

S surprised us with cupcakes from pinkitzle in okc. if you haven't been there, you HAVE to! they are soooo yum and the shop is dar-ling! marissa and i quickly took one of the salted caramel ones - omg! thanks, honey!

i figured marissa and i would get a birthday dessert to share so i got a '3' candle for singing and making wishes. does the second number really matter??? heck no! since we ended up with individual cupcakes, we each took a pic with the candle. isn't she the cutest?!

marissa noticed that the christmas lights on automobile alley were still up so after dinner, we decided to stop for a quick pic. IT. WAS. SO. COLD!!! S was taking the pics and the lights were giving him fits. this one turned out pretty cool though!
it wasn't nervous laughter but bitterly-cold laughter.
YAY, we got a good one!! amanda we missed you but i'm sure by the time we took this, you were warm and snug in your bed!
