New Years Eve

happy 2011 to everyone!!!

this was the same day as the infamous tummy bug and thank goodness my parents were there to help! needless to say, our 'evening alone' was cut very short. we had a GREAT time talking about how we met and some fun things that have happened to us since the summer of 1999. we were able to enjoy a few glasses of wine without interruption and that counts for A LOT!

we spent a lot of time talking about the girls, too. since, that's what parents do. i opened my purse to grab my phone to text mom and found this. a donut from O. we laughed so hard!! we're constantly finding her toys in weird places!

it was actually nice to get home early and NOT watch the ball drop. we didn't have it in us and we were much more rested the next day because of it. we can always dvr dick clark!
