happy birthday america!!!

happy first 4th of july to emma and happy birthday america!!! we had a lot going on on this celebratory weekend! swimming, parties, dancing, firecrackers, a parade. whew! it was so much fun to be able to spend time with my lovies and celebrate what it means to be an american!
so this is what O does to E just about every time she gets close to her. it's darn precious. sometimes she holds on a little too hard and E doesn't always love it but i hope they both always love each other. hard.
it's incredibly hard to get them to look at the camera at the same, especially if i'm by myself. so, i'll leave you with a few of my individual favorites.

O wanted a pic with her friend 'sarah'. funny!

i didn't get many (good) pics from our pool adventure because it was really busy. i think every member at the trails was there. it was kind of handy because i was able to pick out the new boobs i want some day…tee hee!

S had a grand idea - popsicles!!! they ALL loved these tasty treats! check out the goldfish explosion they're sitting on!
here we are back at the golf course that same evening for dancing, face painting, snow cones and firecrackers! here are my sweet firecrackers. not wanting to sit for a pic.
O was dreaming of the sand trap that i forbid her from and E was (again) telling me that she hates the grass.
getting her face painted.
getting a tattoo on her hand.

the roberts four!
my friend parked her greyson on the grass so i did the same with E. they looked at each other. alot. i told E that greyson would be a great boyfriend some day. some of the other boys there? not so much! this one is a swee-teeee!
then the girls shared a snow cone with daddy.
i've gotten in trouble for taking pics during firecrackers before. this was my one shot at a pic and i was holding E so it's not great but, it'll do!
on the actual 4th, we headed over to the hofmann's neighborhood for their annual neighborhood parade. this is our second year! it was hilarious to walk up and see that all three of the wagon-riders had on the same shirts!!
daddy and E.
our little flag!
halle didn't miss a thing. ha!
after it got started and warmed up a bit, E was NOT impressed.
see? we exited shortly after. the rest of us had a great time even though we were sweating by 9:30 a.m.! we will definitely do this again next year and we'll have FOUR girlies in wagons! it'll be so much fun!
she actually wore these a few seconds before departing. cute little 'cracker!
once we got home and cooled off, i wanted a picture of both of them in their stripes before putting them away. i just love my little american girls!
i hope everyone else had as much fun as we did! happy fourth of july!!!!!!!
