sprinkled with love

i have never felt so greedy and so grateful in my life. some of my nearest and dearest gave miss emma a 'sprinkle' this weekend and it was in every single way, well, perfect. you know, MO is only two so these lovely ladies have done this for me very recently. i was blown away by their love and determination to do this for us, even though i reeeeally didn't feel comfortable about it. we decided on a 'sprinkle' and we only invited family and super-close friends, and honestly, it turned out to be a full-blown shower and i loved every minute of it.

from left to right: kim (heather's mom), mary, margaret (joce's mom), joce and heatherthe beautiful invitations.
mary (mom's dear friend and joce's aunt) hosted the lovely affair at her beautiful home. joce saw a shabby chic baby shower on hostess with the mostess and from the invitations to the flowers, my salli-girls pulled off an amazing event that hwtm would be proud of.
margaret found this stand at an antique store, sprayed it and hung beautiful jewels from it! pretty sure i saw joce put it in her own car later on that afternoon...
the cupcakes were to die for!!
beautiful flowers!!!
me and my momma.
me and my aunt paula.
me and my best girl. pretty sure she's begging for more cupcakes. i think she had three...
me and my cousin, erin, with her sweet-as-candy, ellie!!
well, at least i know who fed her at least one cupcake...
some of emma's loot. most of this has mom's name written all over it! i am in looooove with her canvas!
jodi and her love-muffin, ryan kate!
the dodds and walkers.
you might remember this post from february. my dear friend jana was diagnosed with breast cancer this year and she's been fighting her heart out this summer. today was one of her first outings and i have never felt more honored. when she walked in, my eyes filled up with tears. not because she has lost all of her hair. we've been through too many bad highlights to let that bother me!! because i saw an incredibly strong woman, wife and mother of three, smiling when i knew it hurt to do so. smiling when i knew she would rather be at home in bed. smiling because her sweet third born was strangling her with all the love he has. smiling. we love you, jana banana! thank you for warming all of our hearts!!
i can't get enough of sweet bella. she brought me a hand-made card and homemade cookies!!! jeana and anna. anna just got engaged (hooray!) and jeana (left) was there with her SEVEN week old, easton. doesn't she look fab?!?!?
my little angel baby!!!
heather made me an awesome diaper cake with LOTS of goodies!!!
i'm in love with this sleeper and hat! thanks mom!!!
isn't this what any good mom does at her shower? wipe noses? thought so!
steph missed out on the first 1996 pic, but we had to take another one to make the pics complete!

MO got treated SUPER-great today! she got a jessie doll and a mrs. potato head from toy story 3, some dress-up clothes, hair clips, lots of stickers, three new OLIVIA books, more books and a bubble gun!!! sweet jessie has been everywhere with us. even to bed!
she definitely has a special love for mr./mrs. potato glasses.... me and sweet heather. thanks for writing for me, my friend!
ok, so the night before the sprinkle, us girls went over to the fort to doe's eat place for a great dinner. we ate tamales, marinated mushrooms, a yummy salad, crazy-good fry bread with lots of yummy honey. the steaks are massively-huge (see for yourself!!) and when it was all said and done, we realized we could have split this two-pounder four ways.

i am one damn lucky girl to have such amazing and supportive friends. this was the best weekend and i owe my dearest friends oh, so much! i love you all to bits and i thank you for filling my cup. over and over!
