here is our official parade float! complete with chair back covers! 
i don't know about you, but i TOTALLY think we won best float. if anything, we won CUTEST GIRLS!!!
here we are making our way to the parade route. think MO was a little busy? silly girl was trying to get a darn sticker off the wagon....
and look how freaking excited they were when she finally got it off!!!!

we came around the wrong way so we decided to wait for the parade to pass us so we could jump in the middle! 
"ooooooooooo, i think i see the parade coming!!!"
yep, here they come!! 
and honestly if we didn't win best float, this one should have. now we know what we have to do to WIN next year!!! 
aaaand, since it started pouring on us at the end of the parade, we high-tailed it home! we were all drenched!
but these little "stars and stripes forever" could have cared less!!
mmmm, blueberries and strawberries with cool whip - with red and blue sprinkles!
little yummy 'firecrackers' of my own! rice krispie treats dipped in white chocolate!
pretty sure the girls enjoyed their treats!!

i'm sure she's eating plain cool whip here but i honestly saw her eat berries too!
and since they were soooo good, we let them watch 'memo' for a bit. on the coffee table even! good thing it was a holiday!!!!
