my boss for the past 10 years turned 60 on may 13th. her actual birthday involved OU's commencement activities so in order to actually have a party for her, we got smart and had it the week before. 
we didn't want to surprise her because, well, she would fire all of us, so we sent the invitations and then we told her after they were successfully delivered to her party guests.

you can see the super-fun cupcake toppers on the right - they were sooo cute! the food was amazing and everything was just perfect! she is the master party planner for everyone else in her life (she's had three for me!) so it was her turn to enjoy! she seemed to have a really good time and humbled by all of those who love her dearly.

My mom told me about this party and it sounded so fun! The pictures are super cute!
