olivia's 3rd birthday party!!!

yay!!! i finally posted pics from, pretty much the best party ever!! no really, it was so much fun to plan and the kiddos had a great time at "olivia's sweet shoppe"!! i kept apologizing to the parents for the incredible amount of sugar we had on literally every table. they were all pinging off the dollar-general-store-tablecloth-draped-walls of our garage!

i have to start off by giving the hostess with the mostest credit for these amazing invitations. she is SO TALENTED! a little background for ya: i first saw this similar invitation that she made for a past bachelorette winner, trista sutter. her little boy was turning one and miss sbranti designed the invites and all of the fantastic decorations for the birthday party. i contacted her on the off-chance she would so something for little 'ole me from oklahoma. and she did!!! i so wish i could meet this gal and squeeze her neck!
i really should do a 'secondly' and thank my friend erin for taking some amazing photos at the party. i literally couldn't have captured every 'sweet' moment without her help! THANK YOU!!

this is one of my favorite pics from the party. sweet cheeks stuffed with a second cupcake.
the 'sweet shoppe'!

a HUGE thank you to aunt bunnie for wrapping all of the juice boxes and water bottles. i appreciate you!!!

i saw this party favor idea on another blog and i thought it was hysterical. the kiddos also got to take a huge bag of candy home!
this was my favorite sign to make!! we hung it in the dining room for over a week!
yummy, yummy cupcakes! my darling's favorite!!!

the '3' is officially gone now....i'm sad but i'm excited to watch her grow!

thanks, saradee and aunt bunnie for letting me borrow your awesome glass containers!! the 'candy' in them looked so great!
last-minute door decor turned out pretty cute. three lollipops for my lollipop!
i can't wait to use this banner every year!
this was another last-minute decision and i wish i'd made more 'candies' like this!
the roberts family!!
the degroot's and hagelgantz's. thank you to susan and nicole for picking up the cupcakes, teeny-tiny chairs and beer!! it was a huge help on the day before the big day! thank you, too, for taking O to breakfast on the morning of her party so she could be super-surprised!!!
the walker's. mom was here for three days before the party and i SIMPLY COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT HER! thank you!!!
a sweet thank you from my best girl. you are so worth it, girlie!!!
ok, so we ordered new desk pad things for our new computers at work and they came in this flat box. i wanted to do some sort of 'photo booth' and when i saw the box i knew what i would do. then, i thought "this is silly and i don't need to mess with it". SO GLAD i did. it wasn't perfect in any way but it was so fun!

O and addison
me and sweetest-girl-i've-ever-met bella.
lucy brooke! presh!!
prince william!
marina was loving it!!
check out gigi! girlfriend was working the camera!!
alex and chloe. cutie. pies.
my high school love, joce. i'm sooooo glad the bartley's were able to come. that entire family always gives me the best dose of comic relief!!! i love you guys!
this is how O crosses her eyes!!! he he!
yep, we had a bounce house in our front yard. we're redneck like that.

this pic of chloe's tails cracks me up!!!

we had lots of ride-on toy and wagons to choose from.

i thought this one of my dad and S's granddad was hilarious - they were both soooo winded after blowing up these beach balls!
hayden had a soccer game but stopped by to say 'hi' just before. he brought sweet ella with him.
perry. yes, please.

i loooooove this one! two little girlies doing their best to stay away.
gigi pulling a wagon with two kids that are bigger than her. you go, girl!!!
"happy birthday to you!" "happy birthday to you!" "happy birthday, dear olivia!"
"happy birthday to you!"
make a wish, sweet girl!
mayhem.

these sweeties kept sticking their fingers in the bubble machine and it just made me laugh!

this is how E parties...
more jumping. burning off that sugar!!!
O found her way to her dress up box. love her heels?
more sugar, please!!!!
someone brought a little somethin' extra to the party. i will say that perry was sitting here....
wadewebb made it! you have to say 'wadewebb' because his nickname is his full name. all of the kids call him wadewebb. his birthday party was that afternoon - batman was the theme!!! it was an awesome party!
awww, look who woke up!
"no, mommy, i did not have a blue ring pop..."
aaaand, that is how the party ended. O was on a severe sugar binge, and her face was permanently blue and then she crashed and not by way of a nap. she pushed through it with more sugar. it was her birthday for heaven's sake. we brushed her teeth (and lips and cheeks) and went to wadewebb's party for an hour and for some strange reason, she crashed just minutes before the house. my sweet child is not a car-sleeper. she rallied and i honestly don't remember much after that! no really, she opened her incredibly wonderful and thoughtful and helpful and hilarious birthday gifts and she went to bed with a happy heart.

here's to an amazing year THREE sweet bug! we love you!
