mother's day

so, instead of the usual church and brunch scene, we took it easy this mother's day. S and the girls let me sleep in and then i decided we'd go to goldsby to a little place called libby's. SO. GOOD. we've been there for dinner way before we had kids and we haven't been back. huge mistake! the place was not crowded at all and the food was good 'ole home cookin'! just what this momma needed!

after a morning nap by little miss, we headed to the golf course for some runnin' around. i wanted more pics with my girls. it was my day after all!

then, the girls fought over a stick.

E wanted it real bad.

and O really wanted to kick her in the face. she didn't though. promise.

E decided to forget about the stick and practice on her crawling skills.

let's not read that, okay? it's just too sad to think about her little hands being any bigger than this. i'm going to go and ugly-cry now....

i can't believe i don't have a pic of the canvas that E painted for me. it's probably the most beautiful canvas ever and it matches her room perfectly.

needless to say, i'm on lucky girl at home and while i'm at work. i couldn't ask for more!!
