ok, so mommy had a weekend away to play with her girlfriends. erin and i left on thursday and we were able to hit happy hour with carrie that afternoon. that's where it all started...

this is where we had $3 margaritas. the best! carrie, erin, me, guy/gal who was our waiter-ess. carrie lives in the gay-borhood and we saw a lot of beautiful people. this was obviously a man but his makeup, hair and booty were WAY cooler than mine. i was jealous. still not sure if i should've called him/her, him or her.

erin, latoya, carrie, me. this was right before a very creepy cab driver picked us up for an amazing dinner. carrie made reservations months ago. it was awesome and we made it an early night. we did not call the same cab driver to take us home.

on saturday, we headed to the belmont hotel in downtown dallas. carrie, again, made reservations months ago. this was the coooolest hotels! i still need to research it to see what it used to be. you could tell it used to be awesome, then run-down, then some rich someone came in and made it cool again. cement floors and stairs in the room, a pool with a green space overlooking dallas. super-cool.
it was really overcast on saturday but it really made for a great day. no one got too drunk or too sunburned.

carrie and desiree.

latoya planking.

see how cool this is? such an 'LA' type of place!

lynn, carrie, desiree, erin, latoya, me.

lynn is carrie's former therapist. she has helped carrie sooo much and for that, i love her! it was great to finally meet her!

i have no clue what carrie is doing here...

i don't look as cool as latoya but this was a lot harder. i think i crushed my pubic bone...

des is notorious for getting crazy t-shirts at wal-mart. she pulled this one out and said "nothing says fun like a basket full of pussies" sorry for the crudeness but it was hilarious!!

elk city friends forever, erin and carrie.

did i mention we celebrated carrie's birthday??

apparently sometime in late 98 or early 99 i told carrie that i thought we would be great friends one day. i soooo don't remember saying that but i'm sooooooo glad it happened! i love you carrie jane!

did i mention we had our tarot cards read? it was soooo cool! he was right on with a few of us! it was terribly fun and exhausting but i cannot wait for another girls weekend!

carrie, i know you don't want to be the travel agent again but you truly did a fantastic job! thank you, and sweet margaux, for everything!!!
