her first year - 11 months

when you get excited, man, it's the best! you are soooo funny!

we took our first family vacation i july to seaside, florida. it was your first trip on an airplane and it was flawless. you slept, you ate, you played, you slept. no throw ups, no blow outs. success!
ok, so we still haven't cut your hair. i just can't do it. this is what you look like when you wake up in the morning. it's so cute but you've started moving it out of the way so i know it's bothering you. we'll do something about it soon, i promise. and we'll take lots of pictures!!

you hated the beach. i mean, really hated it. i'm so sorry you didn't love it like the rest of us. i'm also sorry you face-planted in the sand….that's probably what did it for you. we'll try again in a year.

you still really don't say much. you have finally managed to get the "oh" in "uh-oh" and it's adorable when you say it! you're mumbling around more so i'm thinking that more words are just around the corner!

you won't wave bye-bye anymore…..you've only done it a few times but definitely not on command. i won't tell the doctor this because you might fail your 12 month appointment….ha! just kidding! you're just too darn busy to do anything but crawl or walk.

speaking of crawling and walking, you're still crawling faster than lightening. you're at one end of the living room one second, and at the other end the next. it's kinda freaky. you're cruising all over the furniture and you've even taken a few steps!!

can you believe you're now in the 'toddler' room? you're not an 'infant' anymore. ok, so with that being said, the next photo shoot will be the last, huh? wow.
