this might be one of my favorite pics from the week. a little girl and the ocean.
since E didn't love the ocean, we decided to leave her at home with gran and papa. it was so great to have some one-on-one time with O. it was a really awesome day!
O wanted to me to take her out in the water and let the big waves get her. it was hilarious especially when she got a mouth full of salty ocean water!!
we really found a lot of sea shells this day. O would pick one up, jump, then sing a little ditty to anyone that would listen. it was something like 'nana-nana-na'. here she is surveying her new collection.

time for a break for this momma. ahhhh, i can't wait to go back!
i'm telling you, this girl had so much fun, she did snow angels in the sand!!!
we just loved watching her run in and out of the water. she was having the time of her life!!
sorry this is sideways. i hate it that ems piggies aren't in this one!!
we found this little crab. you can barely see it in the bottom-center of this pic. O named it sarah. and, no, she wasn't scared although she wouldn't let her feet touch the ground until it crawled away….
there is a little restaurant called 'the shrimp shack' and they're famous for their lobster rolls it's basically a sub sammie with butter, lettuce and LOTS of lobster. it's $21. each. S and i decided to split one so we could each try it. someone, and i'm not going to name names, ate over half of it!!! big, juicy pieces of lobster, gone in seconds!!! did i mention it was $21….?
i'll get one again. when i'm alone!!
that afternoon, we went back to the house to get E and go for ice cream. we went here or the other ice cream place twice a day. pretty sure O loves it!!
we went to the park but, man, it was hot.
see? E was not too impressed with this either.
so, we headed for the pool! the kiddie pools were GREAT!
it was perfect for E because she could sit in her lilly pad and walk on the bottom of the pool. this made her so happy!!!

this was one of E's favorite places to climb. in and out she went!
not too happy that big sis got in too! ha!
big sis got out, so she thought about tracking her down.
then she changed her mind. funny thing about babies. distracted in seconds!
this NEVER happens! dad was making us dinner and O was really excited about eating crab legs but she just didn't make it. i'm still shocked she just passed out!! mom was in heaven!
um, YUM! i love crab boils!!! it was sooooooo good! we ate and ate and ate!

after dinner, S and i went on another date! i think we got one every night! it was great! in the ampitheater they were showing a movie on this huge blow-up screen.
enough of the 'karate kid' remake, time for another drink!!!
this might be the saddest pic of the post office but it was really the cutest post office i've ever seen! we sat on those steps and ate snow cones. mine was stuffed with custard!!! YUM!
this ends day two. we will attempt to take E tomorrow. we hope she loves it!!!
