we left new mexico on saturday so daddy could work a little on sunday and so i could do this!! we weren't sure how E would do with the tree since she's a pretty crazy kid. S and i put the breakable ornaments on the night before but then sunday night, we let them help with the "those go at the bottom of the tree" ornaments.
they were GREAT helpers!
O was very careful to hang her ornaments.
E was careful when she touched them.
O found a few that were too close to the bottom so she helped us rearrange a bit.
we're still debating whether or not we need a fence around the tree.
gran got O a ballet dancer ornament since this is her first year to dance.
she loves it and wanted to lay her 'right there'. i believe she's hanging mid-way up the tree now!
i love these card hanger ornaments. i need more so if you see any, let me know!

so the bottom of the tree looks like we have little ones. it's okay, right? O has continued to be really great with the tree but E is sure testing the waters! she goes in full-on for a grab but when we say 'easy' she opens her hand and gently pats….i figure our days are numbered.
yay! i'm so excited to have our tree up! it's as pretty as ever if i do say so myself!
