the girls school has a thanksgiving lunch every year and it's always a lot of fun. gran attends every year with us, too. it's our THIRD year! so fun! two month old E was there last year but i can promise you she doesn't remember a thing.
the turkey-lurkey shirt that E is wearing is actually O's from her second thanksgiving. how sweet is that? my awesome monogram lady made O one for this year that matched so well!
O and gran.
O and E and gran!
E thought she was totally big time and had to drink out of a real cup. she actually did really well!!
why does she always look at me like "why did you make me eat this?" ugh, styrofoam is yuck and everyone knows it sweetie!
she really thought she was one of the big girls. it was pretty precious. and she ate more than the big girls, too!
she saw a friend across the way and she was looking at them thru the highchair.
these little school parties and events can be really stressful in many ways but i wouldn't trade them for the world. E didn't want anyone to leave her and that made me sad. O was okay with me leaving but she didn't want gran to leave. go figure. gran ended up leaving a little over an hour after me....nothing like getting manipulated by a three year old.
i can't thank our super-great little school for everything!! the meal was wonderful as always and it made a really sweet memory for our family. we appreciate all of the teachers and parents who made this possible. we are so thankful for our school!!!
