after we unloaded from christmas, we decided to give ice skating a try. O was really excited about it and kept saying "we're going to disney on ice?!?". funny kid.
S and O were SO CUTE as they laced up their ice skates. O was so excited to try and S was excited to get to show his girl something new.

actually getting ON the ice was tricky. there was a big step and there were lots of ice skaters flying by.
whew! they made it!
"i love disney on ice!!" (we didn't have the heart to tell her that we were just at a car dealership...)
sweet E just wasn't big enough this year. she didn't really understand why she wasn't out there too. she thinks she's three, ya know.
they got about a quarter of the way around the rink and O fell. she didn't recover all that nicely so they decided to come back. against the grain.
it was difficult but they made it!!
E had lots and lots of snacks. she's sporting MY hat from back in the day. pretty presh!
now, it's momma's turn!

afterwards for a treat, O picked ice cream. we were thinking something not so cold but it wasn't our choice. we'll definitely try this again before it goes away and we'll definitely be back next year. with two kids in ice skates….yikes!
