so, this is how i found the girls on morning 1. watching 'elf in the shelf'. which, by the way, is an adorable cartoon and we actually own it. if you didn't get to see it this year, promise me you'll see it next year!
how cute is this??
i honestly can't remember if this is from day 2 or 3 but we went to dad's office this day to show the girls off. they danced, they ran, they were loud. probably not too good for a clinic setting but dad was so proud to show off his grandgirls.
E is soaking up every single learning moment with O.
learning and climbing. talking will have to wait. this girl is too busy!!
aren't they precious?!?!
when E was napping, O went outside for a bit. it was pretty chilly in eastern oklahoma.
papa was super excited about his deer. a little history = they used to have two deer in the back and they were grapevine, lighted, big red bows, really pretty, etc. dad told mom that they had bugs and threw them out. mom still thinks he's lying. who knows if they really did or not but this all lead up to a HUGE light-up deer search and rescue.
they found some that actually moved! they could NOT wait to show the girls. i mean, dad even put down blue lights for 'water'. hilarious! O does look pretty presh with papa's deer.
at one point in her life this was 'eee-ya's bridge'. she wouldn't let you cross her bridge…tear.
these have to be from day 3. different outfits. get with the program, liz!!
when O saw all of mom's nutcrackers O said "oh, gran, thank you so much for my nutcrackers!" it might have been the sweetest thing ever.
E was very interesting in leaving. she always is. she was really excited when papa was on the other side of the door!!
on friday afternoon, my high school buds and i met at 'old mcdonald's' so we could visit and the kids could run off some energy. here is O and AK. one of the sweetest girls ever! she was great with the littler ones. such a kind spirit.
S and K. sweetie pies!
P and E. they played together. a lot. i might be worried...
sweet B, with O, E and S.
i'm soooooo sad that we didn't take this pic before stephanie and her three sweet lovies had to leave. totally bummed!! thank you to the nice man who took our pic. they turned out pretty great considering we had eight children to contend with.
when we got home we immediately stipped down out of our 'old mcdonald' clothes. my girls were literally crawling on that nasty floor. i was beside myself.
then, we took ice cream cones and slathered them with icing, then decorated them with m&m's. the girls totally loved it!!

E looks soooo big sitting on this bar stool!!
we were about finished with E's while O was still putting icing on hers.
i think O ended up with more m&m's but E's were more, well, spaced out. O thought we should leave them for santa. i think he'll love his surprise!!
can we talk about O NOT sitting still for a second? this is how almost all of our christmas photos went. with the exception for our family photo, which i'll show you later, she simply would not sit still.
this is probably the best one.
aaaand, we're done!
up next? christmas eve!!!
