merry christmas everyone!!!! it's finally, finally here!
O: "look ems! santa came!!!!"
O: "i mean, he really, really came to gran and papa's house!"
O: "look! he brought the purple pillow pet that i've been wanting!"
E: "well, i've got to eat before i can do anything about this santa business."
O: "emma, don't even think about stealing my singing justin bieber toothbrush. just stay away!"
(side story: a week before christmas, O told someone that santa was bringing her a helicopter…i'm sorry what, O? that's right, she never mentioned it again.)
until christmas EVE……thankGOODNESS for santa's little helpers!! O was shocked and super-excited when she opened her helicopter!!! (thanks youknowwhoyouare!)
O: "yep, i do need new panties!"
E: "i don't know what a princess is, or what bubble bath is but i'm excited!!!"
guess what?? she LOVES HER NEW BEE-BA!!!!!!!
i am thrilled beyond belief! i know how kiddos get attached to things, especially blankets and lovies, so i was worried that she might hate her new bee-ba.
this face says it all!
(i will tell you that i still have her old, ripped to shreds bee-ba. probably always will.)
E: "O, you totally got ripped off. check out MY new lovie! it's hot pink AND silky!!!"
E: "isn't it my nap time soon??"
ya know, it's the little things that make us happy. in O's case, it's a (large) purple pillow pet and a new blanket. her christmas is complete!

gran and papa got O a new 'real' camera! it's really cute and totally drop-proof!
i found this three-tiered stand at sam's for mom. gonna have to borrow it soon!
E has her old lovie but her new one is laying over her face. pretty sure she's ready to love on that new lovie in her crib!!

man, it was a great christmas this year! we were totally in awe of the girls this year.
they were SO MUCH FUN!!!
everything was new and exciting and O got into the spirit of christmas way more than last year and it was just great! stanley was there to spice things up and honestly, it was perfect! thanks to my parents for putting up with us!
i've decided on two things that we HAVE TO HAVE next christmas morning:
*an extraneous person to put toys together (homeless, estranged, etc.)
*a photographer to take photos because you simply can't get it all! (i totally stunk at taking pics this year)
