st. joe's christmas party!

happy school party day!!  these days are literally so much fun and so exhausting.
here's kind of what our party days look like:
  • get to school in time before E's party.
  • not too early because she'll freak if i'm there hanging out.
  • sneak quietly down the hall so O doesn't see me.
  • play with E for a bit before she eats lunch.
  • have E's party.
  • sneak out of E's room before she flips out.
  • run to O's room.
  • play with O for a bit before she eats lunch.
  • have O's party.
  • hang around because O wants me to.
  • wait a few minutes longer because E is riding on the buggy in the halls.
  • check to see if coast is clear.
  • make a run for it.
  • head back to work after what seemed to be a very short lunch break.
  • wait, did i eat?
  • whew!
  • two parties
  • two happy girls
  • one happy (exhausted!) momma!

here we are in O's classroom.  thanks to ms kathleen for taking this photo!!!
here we are at E's party.  cutest. thing. ever!
this face is my absolute fave!!!
i'm not sure about this one but i do love it!
all of her little, sweet friends!  they are all just darling - especially when they're sitting IN a table!

when i got to O's classroom, they were busy making mus-kit.  (music in O-speak)
 a-dorable little fantastic fours!!
she was so proud i was there because she had something very important to tell me…..!
she was chosen to be the prayer leader before lunch!!!!
it was probably my proudest mommy moment yet. i was teary eyed!
checking with ms nicole to make sure she was doing great.
she was AWESOME!!
literally stuffing her face with pizza!
hi, buggles!!
 W and his daddy!
sweet WW! he told me his mommy has a baby in her tummy!!  YAY for this family!
O loves some Z.  too bad he recently moved to pre-k.  O is mourning this loss!
how flippin' cute are these marshmallows!!!
 good to the last drop!
 sweet M.
what a fun party!  the kiddos were so happy to have their parents there and it's just always so great to see them playing so well together.  O never wants to leave in the afternoons and although it makes me a little sad to think i'm not ultra-cool, it does my heart super-good to know that she's happy at her little school.

thank you to the teachers for planning such a fun party for the kids.
you ladies are exceptional and we love you!!!

You are doing such a great job preserving memories! I did not do a good job at all when the kids were littler. Very few pictures from our St. Joe's day..... I just felt so overwhelmed!
