she's still doing GREAT in her new classroom. her vocabulary has soared and she's saying funny things like "stop talking" and "don't pushing me". my dad thinks MO is probably the one doing the pushing and it's the other kids telling her these things. fun stuff.
they don't let her have her paci during naps so, this weekend, i thought i'd try it. it DID NOT go well. she cried and cried for it both days - crying to the point to where i was laughing at her. it was pathetic. i told SS that she has gone to sleep with one for over two years so i tried to cut her some slack. that slack did not involve giving in...promise. i KNOW she sleeps (and sleeps well) five days out of the week without it. i know we should have cut her off 100% for naps AND nighttime but i'm not stupid. i'm pregnant and i like any sleep that i can get.

Haddee still has her pacifier! I went 2 days without her having it and almost went crazy! By the way, looking at the pictures made me realize just how much SS and MO look alike!
Girl- do not feel bad or worry about the paci- The Politician didn't give his up until he was 3, when I convinced him we needed to take them to the zoo because the baby monkeys needed them. We put them in a gift sack and found a zookeeper- who must have thought I was all kinds of crazy winking at him and pushing the sack of used pacis in his hand.... but it worked! He even had a jacked up front tooth because we waited so long, but now, at 7, his teeth look great!
I think Lucy will be right there with MO. I can't even imagine her without a paci. She'll be ready in her own time...or maybe the paci fairy can come here sometime soon???
i'm so happy she's loving the sunny twos! i saw a huge jump in addi's vocab when she moved to the teeter totters too! it's so fun to watch them learn new things! mo, we're proud of you sista!
Who cares if she gets a paci at home for naptime?!? Holy moly. I just pulled back out the bottle for C b/c she wasn't drinking enough milk. You gotta do what you gotta do!
