orr family farm

O had her first field trip!!!  we went to the orr family farm and everything was perfectly planned.  the day couldn't have been better!  there were real parental release forms to sign, copies of driver's licenses and insurance cards made - the whole deal!

here is O with a few of her classmates.  once we got in the gates, everyone could do as they pleased so we didn't get everyone.  from the looks of this, we're missing 18…oops!
first things first.  the train ride. it was hilarious to hear all of the kiddies yelling out everything they saw!  we sat with sweet K and her momma A!
this was so cute but O was not about to stick her head in!
SHE ACTUALLY RODE A PONY BY HERSELF!!!
she said she wanted to but she tends to change her mind about these things.
i stood inside the ring just waiting for her to bail but she stayed on the whole time!  she did get a little freaked when the pony in front of her stopped to potty!!
these are like big blow up pillows.  it was dirty so O didn't get on.
i just love these little jeans with her cowboy boots!
'cause every cowgirl should have pony tails.
next was the petting zoo.  well, to us, it was the 'stand here and point and tell momma what's in each cage'.  got it, O.  thanks!
no touching this time. just observation.
she loved talking to the bunnies!!!
doesn't she look just like a regular cowboy?
 she just cracks me up!!
here are a few friends waiting for their pumpkin patch ride.

 and here we are!!
trying to pick the very best one.
of course, everyone she picked out was covered in mud.  sometimes dirt and grime doesn't phase her!
 how tall are ya, bug?
yep, that's about 3 feet tall.  with boots.
after our sack lunch (how cute is that?  a sack lunch!!  i had so much fun packing our lunches!!!) she rode the carousel.  it about made me sick but she loved it!

O and her friend K.  they're like mutt and jeff but such cutie friends!

we were getting ready to walk out and O was feeling more cowgirl-ish than ever.  she grabbed that pumpkin and started trying to take it home with us!
and, here are just a few more friends.  i think some of the same friends were in the first pic but that's okay.  they're cute kids so i don't mind taking their picture!
we had SUCH a blast on our first field trip.  O was a doll and had a great time.  afterwards, just the two of us went on a few adventures.  one of them included going to bart conner gymnastics academy to pick out a leotard for her halloween costume!!  stay tuned for that one!

thank you to everyone who made this trip possible!  we can't wait to do it again!!!
