the REAL halloween

so, it's finally the REAL halloween!  yay, we made it!  here are the girls before school that morning.  would you believe i got their tshirts at wal-mart?  they had skull and cross bones on the sleeves - so cute!!

the sweet hofmann's were kind enough to have us over for our, now, annual halloween extravaganza!  erin made her yummy chili and i made pumpkin yogurt - all so yummy!!

have i told you that E hates her giraffe head?  daddy was trying to help a girl calm down but she just wasn't having it!
look how concerned the big girls are!  so cute!!
now that E was okay, O had to check on H.  she's my face toucher!
happy halloween!!!!!  check out our attempts at group pics with 4 under 4.  i know this is a lot but there are so many pics and they're equally funny.  so, i posted them all!

no, O, bailey the dog isn't coming inside.  she is safely outside.  with her glowing eyes...

done, huh, E?

now on to family pics before we get the show started!
bunnie came to hang out with us.  we SERIOUSLY couldn't have done it without her help!!
aaaaand, we're off!
first house.  check!  the girls were sweet to take turns ringing the door bell. it was really funny when they couldn't reach….

E even trick-or-treated a bit.  she didn't really understand but she looooved running from the stroller to the houses!

"put me down!!!"

i don't blame them for being scared of this one.  those big chomping teeth hanging down and weird things popping up everywhere.  they did better than i thought!

trick-or-treating is hard on everyone!!!

oh, lordy!  i was so afraid that E was going to pummel these ghosts.  she really has no boundaries.
the big girls couldn't stick around long enough for a pic but E stuck around...
doesn't she just look guilty???

running.  as.  fast.  as.  they.  can.
(and erin is wearing A's crown - he he!)
totally ticked because she can't run aimlessly in the streets.
a sucker and daddy's shoulders?  don't mind if i do!

the big girls had their candy bags dumped out faster than we could turn around.  they picked a random spot on the floor and went after it!  aren't we supposed to check the candy first??
E, you especially can't go for the almond snickers.  sorry honey!  girlfriend was in heaven!
thanks again, bunnie, for coming with us!  we loved it!!

hofmanns, we just love playing with you guys and we're thrilled that our girls get along so well.  well, when they're not throwing fritos as each other - ha!  we love you and we thank you for another fun halloween!!!
