the girls' school always has a halloween parade and it's pretty much an organized machine. the infants don't really parade down the hall so it all starts with this tiny giraffe. oh, well and the other toddlers! isn't she the cutest?!?! O picked out E's costume as well.
and, here is our fantastic four baton twirler!
thanks to erin for getting this good shot of O's hair. thanks to sunny wenger for my personal tutorial on how-the-heck-to-put-her-hair-in-a-bun! let's just say that 'yellow jello' has saved our lives and will be a fixture in our hair styling drawer forever!!!
E super-hated her giraffe head. really hated it. these are the only pics i have of her as a complete giraffe.
on the buggy as they start to trick or treat. here is E with her friend E! cutest bumble bee ever!!
miss Z!
a-dorable ladybug M!
yoda was also there, too. they had a lot of friends sick this day but it was actually less crazy that way!
stopping by the fantastic fours. big sis was so happy to see her!!
tee hee hee!!!
after they finished getting yummy treats, they got to pass out candy to the big kids. they didn't really get it and it was pretty comical!
sweet O with her mermaid friend, A!
these girls loooove each other!
what is O doing? sniffing A. and why not! oh, this girl has a thing for smells! ha!
getting some good loot!
trying to get 24 three and four year olds ready for a pic…….?????
this O's new friend A. she talks about him all the time. he's so cute!
ms. gloria announcing that it's dance party time!!
this was the most hilarious thing yet! these kiddos danced their little hearts out - like no one was watching! it was the best!
at one point, they all got into a circle and then one by one, each kiddo would get in the middle and dance.
apparently O did some sort of breakdancing.
dang it if i wasn't talking to another parent.
i did catch her doing this. not sure what she's doing though.
oh, bug! i just love you!
it's poooootty time!!!
on our way back from the potty, E was awake so we stopped in to play for a bit.
O loves playing with the baby toys!
captain america stopped by, too!
his little sister was the adorable ladybug in the buggy.
then, it was back to the 4's for some reading before lunch. lunch was very delayed due to a mix-up with the pizza order but the kiddos managed.
this isn't related to halloween but the week before, it was ms gloria's 50th birthday. i would NEVER believe in a million years that she's that old. she's teeny-tiny and has the spunk of my toddler! this is the banner they made her.
and here are individual pics of all of her lovies sharing her birthday cake. i'm so glad we paraded down this hallway so i could see!
it was apparently the best day ever. ms gloria was so happy and her kids just loved making her feel special!
thank you, st. joe's, for everything you did to make this halloween parade go so smoothly. it was organized chaos but it has to be with that many little ones. it was a great morning and i know my girls loved it all!
