we've been trying to take O to an OU game for awhile but for whatever reason, it hasn't worked out until now. she was soooo excited to go to a 'boomer sooner game' and we prepped her good on the chant, yelling for the defense, the start spangled banner, etc.
here are pics of her and her sweet daddy walking to the game. precious, these two.
i especially like the one on the left because 660 is the building where i work.
isn't this little car the cutest! O was excited to take her pic with it!
walking into the stadium for the first time can be intimidating. she was so cool though. i thought she'd see the crowds of people and go running. she was meant to be there!
she loooooved the pride. i'm pretty sure this is where her obsession with the baton twirler started!!
no, i'm not excited to have her with me. not at all.
'momma, you gotta put your one up' during the chant. precious!
the star spangled banner is one of her favorite songs. seriously, it is!!
woah! close up but really cute!
my boomer sooner baby!
she hit a little sinking spell but then rallied quick!
the roberts four (sorry ems)!
she knew exactly when to hold her 'one' up before we told her. she's a smart cookie.
she was so enthralled with everything. we were both enthralled with her.
there's boomer or sooner. not sure which one. she didn't care for either.
OOOOOOOOOOOO-U!
stopping for a popcorn and coke break.
her daddy was in heaven. at an OU game with his oldest daughter.
gotta yell loud for the defense!!
and this is where things go south. not bad south, but 'it's time to go' south.
she started getting really silly and slap-happy. it was three hours past her bedtime so we're lucky that she lasted this long.
we were so happy that she was able to go with us! i do have a give a big shout-out to my family for staying with E so we could take O. and for giving us one of their tickets. thank you guys so much!!!!
boomer sooner, baby!!!
